Week 4: Return of the Daddy

Hello again!

I have had an enjoyable week. On Friday, I, my sister and my mum went to visit some friends for supper. They had not yet been able to read the blog, so hopefully, they will be able to read this one.
We ate lasagna for supper with them, and we saw a space station fly overhead. It looked like a star, but much faster moving.

On Monday, I received an offer from one of my friends in Year 13 to write an article for the Sixth-Form newsletter about my experiences moving up into Sixth-Form.
Another thing I received on Monday was a new transmitter; it looks like a smartphone. I am trialling it for two weeks, then I will try another transmitter for 2 weeks. It's just as well that I've got a replacement because the old one is long overdue for breaking.
Brand new transmitter! Only 3 people have thought it was a phone so far.

On Tuesday, I organised a timetable of how I will occupy my time after school for schoolwork. It's so that the teachers can know how I'm spending my time, and it will hopefully allow me to be more conscientious about homework. I also learned that I had missed the Harcourt house assembly, which was on Monday. Oh well.

Today was fun. I went on a walk with John Atherstone and his dog, Ginny. He is a friend of mine. It was a very pleasant walk, though Ginny ran off and wouldn't come back. Remarkably similar to Pippin going twitchy. So similar, in fact, that I realised that twitchiness is technically a silly name for Pippin running off and not coming back. Don't judge me for the term for it; I was 12 when I came up with it.

Pippin with his (adoptive) sister and another dog...this is from some time ago. I don't take that many pictures in day-to-day life.
Also, my dad gets home on Saturday! He boards a plane for Paris tomorrow, then on Saturday arrives at Heathrow from Paris. So the Daddy monster returns. (As might be guessed from the title of this post!)

Also, not a lot actually happens during the week, so I think I will release the blog every two weeks, rather than every week.
